UTD Korean Language Club Branding

Graphic Design

I had the honor of serving as the Digital Media Officer for The Korean Language Club at UTD for part of my time in college. I helped realign the branding for the organization, created flyers, and put together a promotional video using the new guidelines I put together.

There were a few things I really focused on, as this was one of my first times managing the visual identity of an organization:

#1. I really wanted to honor Korean culture and language. I took into account my experiences in the club, with pop culture and media, and also spent some time learning about key symbols and important events.

#2. I wanted to make sure the club felt fun and approachable! There were lots of South Korean culture appreciation groups and dance groups on campus, but KLC happened to be one of the lesser known groups.  I made sure that our Korean font choices lined up well with existing English font choices, and that they could be used well together.
